Mumbai : The BMC has issued an order, for action against the basement and 25th Floor of Four seasons hotel, a five star property located in Worli, Mumbai. The order has been issued by Devendra Kumar Jain, G South Ward BMC Officer. In the order, a notice has been issued by the BMC regarding illegal construction in u / s 351 and the basement. G South Ward officer Devendra Kumar Jain informed that legal process is being adopted against the area that is illegally constructed or has been occupied illegally against the rules and the regulations.
The 25th floor of Mumbai’s Four Seasons Hotel which was a Refugee Floor has been illegally converted into an office while they have illegally converted the basement into kitchen. A complaint was already registered about this matter before but BMC failed to take any constructive action. Although, the BMC has issued an order against it now, but only time will tell if BMC is willing to take necessary action with regard to this matter.
News Asia Leaks will soon publish documents in this regard about the hotel to prove that many rules have been violated by the hotel and is still standing strong with support from political parties and trade unions. Such negligence may lead to life threatening mishaps like the Kamala mills incident.
