Jeddah: Saudi businessman and investor Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel, who chairs the board of directors of Dallah Al-Baraka Group, died at the age of 80 on monday 18th May 2020.
Saleh Kamel was born on January 1, 1941, in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, to a family that worked as a raft, and his father worked as general manager of the Saudi Cabinet Office.
The Saudi businessman received his primary and intermediate education in both Makkah and Taif, then moved to Jeddah to complete his secondary education. He joined King Saud University in Riyadh at the College of Commerce and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1963.
Saleh Kamel worked for nearly 10 years in government work, then went to the private sector to write a brilliant success story that spanned nearly 47 years.
Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel is considered one of the first Saudi investors in the field of media, as he is the first to establish a media production organization known as the Arab Media Production Company.
